Regional Services Sourcing Manager

The position will manage the selection, development, negotiation, execution and administration of purchasing contracts that cover a wide variety of complex specifications and commercial commodities and telecom services.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the daily operational relations and interfaces with the appointed suppliers and for its operational performance.
• Manage procurement projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor compliance with established buying processes and procedures.
• Identifying organizational needs and negotiating with suppliers for services and products to meet those needs.
• Provide input on commodity profile information (spend and opportunity assessment data, current ordering processes, product changes, current supplier performance, etc.).
Requirements
• Up-to-date knowledge of technology sourcing in the telecom services industry and market trends.
• Familiar with technology providers and their respective strengths/weaknesses (applications development, data centre operations, and network services).
• Understanding of “best practice” in structuring and delivering telecom services to meet specific business needs, objectives.
• Implemented deals involving offshore solutions.
• Experience of outsourcing from vendor as well as client perspective.
• Managed the transition process for out-/in-sourcing.
• Developed the client in-house roles and structures needed to manage and integrate outsourced service provision and monitor performance.
• Preferably have experience of implementing combined business administration and IT outsourcing arrangements.
• Experience of developing and managing sourcing engagements.
• SAP and Incoterms knowledge is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Minimum of 2 years experience in sourcing (purchasing) or commodity.Procurement experience required: IT- Telecommunications services/products experience
